1. FTP Client:
You can use an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client such as Filezilla or WinSCP, from there you can navigate to your Pterodactyl panel and navigate to the SFTP Settings tab. From there you will see two things, a Connection Address & Username. Input both of these into your FTP program, and press connect. Once pressed, you will then connect to your FTP account, and will be able to modify the files on your dedicated server. If you have any issues completing these steps, please contact support.
2. Built-in File Manager
The Pterodactyl panel has an in-built file manager where you can upload/download & edit files hosted on your remote server.
to access this feature you must first login to your servers control panel, and navigate to the "File Management" panel on the left side. from there you will be able to modify the files on your dedicated server. If you have any issues completing these steps, please contact support.
Every user is allocated with one default database, however, upon request and a small fee, we can allocate you with more databases when required.
Creating a database is very easy, once you have logged into your (Pterodactyl panel). you will be able to see a Database tab, from there you will be able to see a section named Create New Database. Asking you to fill out fields such as Database and Connections. Once you press Create Database your database will be created
Once your payment has successfully been processed, and you have logged into your server's control panel, you will your server in a server list, from there you will be able to see a Connection IP this will be highlighted by the panel.
Once your payment has successfully been processed, you will be sent some emails containing some vital information about your server and payment.
One of the emails sent will contain a link to your new server's control panel, you will first be asked to create a password.
our (Pterodactyl panel) comes with a simple backup system. To use this, simply press Backup from there press Create New once pressed your server will be momentarily stopped and a backup will be created.
Sub-Users are added very easily to our control panel. On your panel you will notice a Subusers panel, from there you will be able to enter an email address for the user this subuser is for. You will also be able to choose what permissions they can have against your server. once created the user will be given an email asking them to create a password.
From our panel you will see a Server Name tab, once there you'll be able to enter a new name into the specified field
